I am so excited to announce that I am the winner of the Professionals Services category in the MidCoast business awards!!!
A huge thank you to all my supporters, my clients, my student artists, my family and friends - this could not have been possible without you.
I’m a sole trader, but definitely do not work alone. I am so grateful to have such supportive parents and a partner who have helped me turn my dreams into reality.
A special thank you to Mum who bought me my first DSLR camera and laptop 12 years ago at the start of my graphic design journey. From that very moment I haven’t looked back!
A huge congratulations to all the other finalists and winners (some of which are my clients).

Bright and bold bird art exhibition at Hallidays
The Forster Tuncurry
March 3, 2021
For the month of March local Hallidays Point artist Shelley May is holding her first ever art exhibition. The exhibition is called Birds Eye View and will feature digital illustrations of birds found in Australia and all over the world. Her inspiration comes from her love of birds, bright colours, trips to Hawaii and her own pet parrot Sun Conure. Her digital art technique allows her to create simplistic styled bird illustrations in stunningly bold colours.

Shelley’s exhibition is called Birds Eye View - a play on words, it’s another name for an aerial, but in this case - Shelley takes it literally. A simplistic style, almost cartoon like, Shelley relies heavily on colour to evoke a response within the viewer by using bright palettes. “I hope that when you visit my exhibition, my birds make you smile.”
